Research Assistant

Antonio is a third-year undergraduate at the University of Virginia earning a BA in psychology on the pre-med track. His research interests include using cognitive bias modification interventions to help various demographics manage anxiety and shift the way they think; he also studies neurodegenerative diseases. After graduating, he hopes to take a gap year before attending medical school in pursuit of an MD.

EmilĂș is a second-year undergraduate at the University of Virginia earning a BA in cognitive science with a concentration in neuroscience. Her research interests include exploring mental health interventions and neurodegenerative diseases.

Tylar Schmitt
Honors Thesis Student

Tylar is a fourth-year undergraduate at the University of Virginia earning a BA in psychology. Her research interests include making psychological science more accessible by developing digital mental health interventions and disseminating research findings to the public. Her Harrison Undergraduate Research Award-funded project is under review. After graduating, she will join the Program for Internet Delivered Interventions on LGBTQA+ Mental Health at Western Psychiatric Hospital as a research coordinator.
